Tell me what you are passionate about?

Cee announces yesterday that she needs to go to Leeds University today. In that small announcement, I realise a few things,

Somehow I rise just after 5 am knowing that it could take 4 hours to get there, I will need at least one break. Somehow we find a parking space even though the Park and Ride is closed due to Leeds United playing at home (no one told us that on the travel advice).

It is a long time since I have sat in 3 lectures in a day and I have never sat in on lectures on Astrophysics, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The astrophysics photography had the most impact.

Did the professor say that the contracting of the Sun and the pull of gravity struggle with each other though the struggle actually keeps it together? If so that is a great metaphor for how my life feels. It does put a positive spin on the struggle actually keeping us together.

I was more interested in how the lecturers communicated their passion than their passion. Made me wonder what would I speak on that that excites me. I think it would be something about the power of stories to help us live. I have many stories than have powered me in living. There is one thing to have a subject it is another to communicate it to maximum effect.

No doubt today will become an encouraging story though for the moment I am just tired.
