Today we celebrate a very special occasion.

Our lives have changed because of this.

We have a Hope.

He defeated death and gifted life.

You know who I am talking about, right? Yes, our sweet Lord Jesus.

This morning joy filled our home. My parents and sister woke me up with these fine words: “Happy resurrection day! The Lord lives!” It was soothing hearing those words. A smile formed in my lips and a word of praise left my mouth.

Why is this such an important event in our lives? Well, this changes our whole perspective about life. Death has been defeated! We have a hope. I know that when my life ends on earth, I will be in His presence for eternity!

In the first Adam, there was death, but in the second/last Adam (Jesus) we have found life.

Needless to say, when Jesus comes once again we will be risen from death to life. That is a promise. Lets take hold of it.
